Depla is looking for a good home

It is soon time for Depla to find a new home, I do however wish to keep some form of ownership of this puppy, so whoever wishes to have her as their dog must be prepared to share her to some degree.
Depla is a purebreed Dalmatian with an excellent pedigree. Both her parents are champions and have many titles. They are more importantly healthy and of good temperament. Her mother Sofie, came with me to Iceland when I moved here a year ago. She was inseminated with frozen semen from Zacco, Bel-a-Mir´s Elegant Envoy (look under "tenglar" for a link to his owners homepage) Deplas`s birthday is July 13th.
A dalmatian is an energetic and smart dog. It needs an owner like this:
-Who loves to go for long walks, even in wind and rain.
-Who has a lot of time for the dog
-Who has an interest in dogtraining
-Who can tolerate masses of short white hairs that get stuck to everything the next 12 years
-Who will let the dog be a full member of the familiy.
If you are interested please write an e-mail to [e-mail]. You are welcome to do this in Icelandic. It would be good if you tell me as much about yourself and your daily life as possible (that is relevant to keeping a dog ofcourse). This should include who the members of your family are, what their age is, who the main caretaker of the dog will be, and what the worksituation of that person is (ie how long will the dog have to spend on it´s own per day) I will only reply to people who are seriously interested as I do not have a lot of time.

The puppies are doing well

The puppies are now 10 days old and growing rapidly. They are getting plenty of milk and have developed rather large tummies! The spots are starting to show in the skin under the fur. Here is a link to information on the puppies handsome father "Zacco"

Puppies born on Friday July 13th

For us this Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky one, as Sofie gave birth to two wonderful bitches, Doppa and Depla.
